Opening of CESA in Ljubljana and completion of the CESA conference
On the first week of October 2010 Technical museum of Slovenia organized CESA conference for technical museums of Central Europe. The theme of conference was Innovative practices and techniques of popularisation of science in museums. Conference was attended by museums from Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia and Croatia and some colleagues from other Slovene museums.
On the first week of October 2010 Technical museum of Slovenia organized CESA conference for technical museums of Central Europe. The theme of conference was Innovative practices and techniques of popularisation of science in museums. Conference was attended by museums from Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia and Croatia and some colleagues from other Slovene museums.
Conference was successfully completed on 6th October with the opening of Central European science Adventure, where all invited could participate in the adventure and get some information about scientists and inventors of Central Europe. Speakers on the opening were Dr. Orest Jarh (Director of TMS), Lea Šuligoj (CESA project manager), dr. Tomaž Boh Directorate of Science, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of Republic of Slovenia and Silvester Gaberšček, Secretary of Directorate for Cultural Heritage of Ministry of Culture RS.
The game CESA will be available in Ljubljana/Bistra for all schools till 10th December. After that CESA will host Technical museum of Vienna till February 2011.
